"I really wanted a special gift for my husband last Christmas. He’s a tricky man to buy for so I decided to have a portrait of our beloved black Labrador. I knew this would be a big ask as black labs tend to all look alike. After speaking with Tom, I decided to ask him if he would take on this piece of artwork. Christmas Day came around and Tom’s wife Holly had kindly wrapped the painting so it was a surprise reveal for us both.
When my husband unwrapped, we couldn’t believe the detail used to truly capture the exact look of our dog. It was incredible and the way Tom painted the eyes really brought the piece to life. We have had numerous compliments from our guest and I always highly recommend Tom.
